Our direct client is a Brazilian-based Optometry chain with over 60 locations which is expanding into South Florida and is seeking a Licensed Optician to be their Store Manager. They will be opening 3 South Florida locations this year and will be opening an additional 6 in 2018. They are seeking a Regional Manager to oversee the first three stores and grow with the company. The main store in Pembroke Pines was a new open with a full finishing and edging labs and the two other stores are long-time established Opticals that were acquired. Job Description:

The store sales manager must hire, train, and manage all store activities including sales, doctor relations, lead generation, inventory displays, and profitability. 

Main Responsibilities:
•    Hire, train, and manage high-performing salespeople.
•    Collaborate with sales leadership to create and train lead qualification process.
•    Ensure store meets assigned performance objectives, such as sales, payroll, accounts receivables, re-do's, cost of goods, P&L.
•    Lead and schedule weekly and/or monthly team meetings with sales team and leadership.
•    Implement performance plans and track sales team metrics.
•    Ensure correct usage of CRM and other sales applications.
•    Work with IT and Marketing to ensure consistent lead generation.
•    Resolve customer concerns and complaints, assist customers in frame and lens selection, accurately complete all required paperwork, accurately measure and order customer spectacles.
•    Dispense optical eyewear in accordance with professional standards and in compliance with Federal, state and local regulations, perform repairs, adjustments and deliveries of eyewear;
•    Maintain merchandise displays in a clean and attractive fashion. Implement lens and price changes promptly and accurately. 
•    Recommend changes in stock to respond to industry technical and fashion trends. Shop competition in market area to stay abreast of current activities

Must-Haves:
•    Optician licensure
•    Experience as a sales representative and store management; within industry preferred
•    Strong intrapersonal skills
•    Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
•    Familiarity with data analysis and reporting
•    Physical agility (bending, twisting, reaching, and pulling) for handling merchandise
•    Availability to work early mornings, days, nights and weekends to meet the needs of the store

Nice-To-Have Skills:
•    Bachelor’s Degree in Business, optometry, or related field
•    Spanish speaking
